Deepen your Mothering: Transformative Classes for Mothers.

Motherhood rewrites our sense of self. A lack of time to pause and refuel can have far-reaching consequences. For some, it may explode unexpectedly with maternal anger and outbursts; for others, it is depression or withdrawal. For those who have enough support to keep going with occasional bits of a refresh, it can still emerge as feelings of loneliness and the need to escape the constant pull of doing for others.

These classes are a place to pause, look inward, and learn about the parts of motherhood that shape us in lasting ways. They’re grounded in developmental and maternal psychology, but offered in a warm, accessible way—more conversation than lecture, more reflection than instruction.

Think of these sessions as invitations: to understand yourself more clearly, to name what’s been unnamed, and to grow through motherhood rather than around it.

Meet your guide

Welcome! I’m so glad you are here. I’m Dr. Jennifer Weaver, PhD, a developmental psychologist who specializes in maternal psychology. As a university professor for 15 years, I’ve researched maternal sensitivity, breast and bottle feeding, childbirth education, parenting, and mothers’ mental health. This background equips me to lead classes grounded in the science of motherhood, but that’s only part of the picture. It is also my goal to return the soul to our understanding of maternal transformations. In my personal explorations, I’ve attended women’s retreats, gained insights through Jungian psychoanalysis, and read broadly in depth psychology. I’m excited to bring both my expertise and my awe for all that mothers accomplish (often unrecognized) to the design of my classes. Come join us as we lean into both personal understanding and connection.
